After I graduated from Boğaziçi University with a bachelor's degree in Economics, I decided to switch to the magical and creative world of the kitchen from the world of numbers.I started to work in Divan Hotels Chain which is the oldest hotel chain in Turkey and had experience in all the departments of the kitchen. I represented Turkey at many international food festivals and fairs organised in France, Germany, Italy, The U.K. and the U.S.A. .
I started food styling in 2005 for the book published by Librio Publishing House in France. Since 2008, I have attended to many trainings, workshops and conferences in the U.K. and the U.S.A..
I did cookbook, food magazine, packaging and commercial jobs in Ireland and Egypt as well as Turkey.
In addition to my professional kitchen experience, working as a consultant chef for Electrolux Professional increased my proficiency on cooking techniques esspecially on baking.
